Services For Vet Professionals
-

Veterinary Referral
To refer a case for behavioural consultation, please complete the Veterinary Referral Form.
I will then contact the client to arrange the consultation.
Following this, you will receive:
🐾 Veterinary letter summarising my assessment, and where appropriate, recommendations including suggestions for psychoactive medication
🐾 Client report providing a detailed discussion of the behavioural plan.
*Please note that, as a one-person service, I do not provide 24/7 out-of-hours cover for behavioural cases and therefore cannot prescribe psychoactive medication, in line with the RCVS Code of Professional Conduct. However, I am happy to support you in deciding on the most appropriate options for our mutual patient (including adjustments or changes).

CPD For Vet Practices
As a veterinary behaviourist I can help you to feel more comfortable about dog’s and cat’s behaviour. I offer free CPD or L&L sessions tailored to your needs and interests.
This can help us to get to know each other, open collaboration and improve patient’s wellbeing and staff safety.
Examples of topics I could cover:
🐾 Dog and Cat-friendly principles and low-stress handling techniques
🐾 Practical understanding of dog’s and cat’s body language
🐾 First aid in behaviour cases
🐾 Interplay between physical and mental health
🐾 Pain-related behaviours and pain trials from a veterinary behaviourist’s perspective
🐾 Pre-visit medication options for emotionally challenged pets
🐾 Psychoactive medication
*Kindly note that availability is limited; however, I will make every effort to accommodate your interest.
